One of the most fundamental truths of all time is that parents have the responsibility to raise their children. This responsibility of raising children is simultaneously one of the hardest things to do and the most fulfilling. The role of a parent is critical to the development of the child. Each of us have seen parents who have not been intentional about raising their children and the children go on to struggle with a myriad of issues. Thankfully these issues can be overcome, but parents who disregard their responsibility inevitably set their children up for many years of overcoming the obstacles that the parents either refused to deal with or didn’t teach their children how to deal with them.
